Why Some New Leads Don't Appear on Your First Page

You've received an email notification about a new lead requesting a consultation, but when you log in to your dashboard, you don't see the lead on your first page of new leads. This article explains why this happens and how to quickly locate these leads.

Why This Happens

Leads in your Heat Pump Marketplace dashboard are sorted by their creation date (when the homeowner first registered on EnergySage), not by their consultation request date (when they chose to contact your company).

Many homeowners register on EnergySage weeks or even months before they're ready to request consultations from installers. They may spend time researching heat pump options, comparing products, and reviewing installer profiles before deciding to move forward. When they finally request a consultation from your company, the lead appears in your dashboard based on when they originally registered, not when they made the request.

How to Find the Lead

If you receive an email notification about a new consultation request but don't see the lead on your first page and navigate to additional pages in your leads dashboard. The lead will appear on a page corresponding to its original registration date. Check pages 2, 3, and beyond if necessary.

Helpful Tip: To quickly find the lead, use Control + F and search the lead address. If the lead is on that page, the search will identify the lead.
