I can't service the homeowner who requested a consultation
Introduction
Occasionally, you may receive a consultation request from a homeowner seeking a service you don't provide. For example, you may specialize in ducted heat pumps while the homeowner specifically needs a mini-split system, or vice versa. This article explains how to return leads when you cannot fulfill the homeowner's requested service.
How to Return a Lead
To request a lead return, follow these steps:
1. Send an email to installersuccess@energysage.com-
- Include the homeowner's name, address, and lead ID
- Clearly explain the reason for the return (e.g., "Homeowner requested mini-split installation, but we only provide ducted heat pump systems")
-
- Installer Success will review your return request
- Your request will be processed within 1-2 business days
- You'll receive confirmation once the return request has been processed.
Important: No Contact Agreement
By returning a lead, you agree not to contact the homeowner. This includes not reaching out to them for any other services your company may offer.
