LightReach TPO Integration Pilot

EnergySage is integrating with LightReach by Palmetto to enable real-time, automated quoting with LightReach directly within the Marketplace. This integration allows installers with existing partnerships with LightReach to quote $0-down solar financing options through AutoQuote, Draft with AI, and Custom Quote, making it faster and easier to present multiple financing options side-by-side for homeowners.

This limited pilot is available to select installers with established LightReach partnerships. We encourage participants to share feedback as we test and optimize the feature.

What's changed?

EnergySage now integrates directly with LightReach's APIs to surface TPO pricing options within your existing quote flows. Key updates include:

Automated TPO quoting through AutoQuote and Draft with AI with configurable price-per-watt thresholds
Pre-populated LightReach rates in Custom Quote for integrated installers
New TPO package configuration available in your quote package settings
Standardized pricing guardrails with a 0.99% escalation rate to maintain consistency and compliance

Why did we make this change?

Previously, installers had to access the separate LightReach platform, manually input shopper details, and transfer pricing back to EnergySage custom quotes. This integration eliminates platform-switching friction and streamlines the TPO quoting process. By bringing LightReach pricing directly into EnergySage, we're making it faster for you to present competitive $0-down financing options alongside traditional purchase and loan quotes, helping homeowners compare all available options in one place.

How it works

The LightReach integration functions differently depending on which quoting method you use.

For AutoQuote and Draft with AI:

Configure a single price-per-watt (PPW) rate in the new "TPO Package" section of your quote package settings. PPW directly correlates to your installer revenue, allowing you to set the minimum rate you're willing to quote based on your revenue goals.

When the system generates a quote, it provides LightReach's APIs with the necessary property details to return multiple pricing options with different PPW rates. The system intelligently selects the lowest available LightReach option that meets or exceeds your configured PPW rate, ensuring competitive pricing while protecting your margins.

For Custom Quote:

If you're integrated and approved with LightReach, a pricing matrix table displays all available TPO rate options directly within the EnergySage interface. You can then manually select and input your preferred pricing values without switching platforms.

What action do partners need to take?

To take advantage of this integration:

Configure your TPO package settings: Set your desired price-per-watt rate in the new "TPO Package" section of your quote package settings
Create a new TPO financing package: Set up this package within your settings to use with Draft with AI
Enable AutoQuote for TPO (if applicable): If you use AutoQuote, configure the TPO package for AutoQuote as well

Where is this feature available?

The pilot is available in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, PR, RI, TX, and VA.

What equipment can I use with LightReach TPO quotes?

All equipment used for LightReach TPO installations must be from Palmetto's Approved Vendor List (AVL). The AVL includes approved solar panels, inverters, batteries, and racking systems that meet LightReach's reliability, warranty, and compliance standards. What if batteries are requested with a TPO quote?

Battery storage can be included alongside TPO quotes following the same configuration process outlined in your AutoQuote package settings.
