What's Changed?

The new design prominently features system design images, installer credentials, and a clearer presentation of key pricing metrics, including better visibility for battery options. The summary section includes the following key improvements:

Prominent installer information: Your company description and ratings are now more visible
Cleaner visual layout: Less crowded text with a more intuitive organization of information
Clear information hierarchy: Key quote metrics are displayed first
Solar + storage toggle: Customers can now easily compare solar-only vs. solar + storage metrics
Expandable system design image: Customers can now see your system design in greater detail
Improved explainer text: Better descriptions help homeowners understand quote details

Why Did We Make This Change?

We redesigned the summary section of the page to put the most important details front and center. We tested the redesign and saw a 16% lift in shopper engagement with installers. Notably, upfront costs for solar-only and solar+ storage systems are now clearly visible at the top of the quote.

Solar + storage toggle - Shoppers can easily switch between viewing solar-only and solar+storage metrics
Clear pricing hierarchy - Most important financial information appears first
Streamlined information - Removed duplicate or less relevant information

What Action Do Installers Need to Take?

Installers do not need to take any actions. If you’d like to make edits to your profile, here are a few ways you can take full advantage of the redesigned Quote Detail page:

Upload high-quality system design images - Since these are now expandable and more prominent, quality mockups will help your quotes stand out
Update your company profile description - This now appears directly on the quote page
Encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews - Both EnergySage and Google reviews are now more visible
