How long does it take customers to close?

The online shopping sales cycle is typically 8-12 weeks from posted lead to closed sale.  Some customers take longer, while some close a deal in the first week. It's important to understand this sales cycle, particularly when first quoting. In the beginning, it can be challenging because all leads are at the beginning of the sales cycle. Once you have been quoting for a few months, this fades into the background as there are always customers closing deals and customers just getting started.
