What does my quote look like to a consumer?

Our Energy Advisor, Nicole, will walk you through what homeowners see when they review your quotes.

This is the opening screen homeowners see:

The goal of this view is to provide homeowners with a high-level summary of their quotes. It includes:

  • Company name
  • Star rating
  • Distance from the homeowner
  • Gross system cost
  • 25-year savings
  • Percentage of energy usage offset

A call to action encourages homeowners to connect with their Energy Advisor (EA), who can guide them in making a confident, informed decision.

This is the compare view:

This is the view Energy Advisors (EAs) ask homeowners to open during their call. It displays all received quotes side by side, with quotes appearing in the order they were submitted by default.

EAs always remind homeowners that these are preliminary quotes, which will be finalized as they connect with installers.

This view is referred to as the full quote view:

This view focuses solely on your quote, allowing Energy Advisors (EAs) to highlight it without distractions when a homeowner expresses interest. A prominent call to action encourages homeowners to reach out to you directly.

This view includes an expiration date to help set clear expectations regarding the validity of the quote. This is the only view that displays your message along with any notes added to your package.

Homeowners have the option to request changes, which will be sent as a message to you in the messaging center. They can also select your quote in this view, which will send an email to all other installers that this homeowner has chosen an installer.

This is how your company profile appears to homeowners:

Your company profile includes a lot of information. Key elements  that homeowners are interested in are:

  • Your top "About Me" section - this will automatically populate into your quote.
  • Gallery – A great place to feature a "Who We Are" video introducing your company.
  • "3 Reasons You Should Work With Us" – Energy Advisors (EAs) use this section to highlight your company's value propositions.
  • Services – EAs reference this section to assist homeowners who may need additional services like roofing.
  • Licensing – Homeowners often check licensing, especially if they've had a negative solar experience in the past.
