The Marketplace Activity Report

What is the Marketplace Activity Report and why should I care?


The Marketplace Activity report is a resource you can use to track your team's engagement with customers and your customers' engagement with your quotes and responsiveness to your outreach. This data can inform your follow-up efforts by highlighting leads that are more engaged, more likely to close, and, therefore, worth extra attention. 

Where can I download my Marketplace Activity Report?


Navigate to:

  • ‘Insights’ tab
  • ‘Reports’ subtab
  • Select the date range
  • Click ‘Request Mktplace Activity Report’
  • The report will be emailed to the email address associated with your account

Marketplace Activity Report term glossary:

Date Acquired: Date that this lead arrived in your ‘Available’ tab

Return: An ‘X’ indicates that this lead was requested to be returned

Owner: The representative at your company who the lead is assigned to

Quoter: The representative who submitted the quote for this lead

Time to Start Quote: The amount of time elapsed between when the lead arrived in your ‘Available’ tab and when the quote was submitted

Date Interest Was Expressed: The time and date when ‘Start Quote’ was clicked on this lead

Date Quote Was Submitted: The time and date that the quote was submitted

Quote Position: The position in which your quote was received by the customer, relative to other installers

1 indicates that your quote was the first quote received by this customer

3 indicates that your quote was the third quote received by this customer

Time to send Message: The amount of time elapsed between when the lead arrived in your ‘Available’ tab and when a message was first sent to this lead. When submitting a Standard Quote with an attached Message Package, this column will be the same as ‘Time to Start Quote’

First Installer Message Timestamp: Date and time that the first message was sent to this lead

Last Installer Message Timestamp: Date and time that the most recent message was sent to this lead

Last Installer Activity Timestamp: Date and time of the last action taken was taken on this lead. An action is considered either a message or editing of a quote.

Last Customer Message Timestamp: Date and time of the most recent message received by this customer

Messages Sent: Number of messages sent (from the installer) to this lead

Messages Received: Number of messages you have received from this lead

Tag: The tag assigned to this property (if any has been selected)

Quick Quote: ‘Yes’ indicates that a Standard Quote was used to submit a quote for this lead, rather than a Custom Quote

Date Won: If deal was won, indicates the date that the customer selected your quote

Sent Message: Total number of messages this lead has sent to any and all installers who quoted the lead

Received Quote: How many total quotes this lead has received on EnergySage up until the present date

Viewed Quote: Total number of times this lead has viewed a quote from any and all installers who quoted the lead

Viewed Your Quote: Total number of times this lead has viewed the quote submitted by your company

Last Viewed Your Quote: The date of the most recent time this lead has viewed your company’s quote

Went Solar: If blank, indicates this lead has not indicated a buying decision

Yes - This shopper has selected to move forward with an installer on EnergySage

No - This shopper has indicated that they will not be moving forward with an installer on EnergySage

Email: This is a ‘Craigslist style’ email address that allows you to send a message to this lead in the messaging center using Gmail

Autoquote Status: In states where Autoquote is active, indicates whether or not this quote was submitted via autoquote
