What is an Energy Advisor (EA) and what do they do?

Our Energy Advisors (EAs) are a team of solar experts, who support homeowners through their shopping journey.

EAs are a resource for EnergySage shoppers. They can answer questions about solar, review quotes, and offer unbiased advice. Every shopper on EnergySage is assigned an EA when they register for our marketplace. EAs engage with consumers over the phone, via email, and sometimes via text message. Their goal is to help shoppers select an EnergySage installer. EAs connect with ~30% of homeowners over the phone and these homeowners are 3x more likely to go solar.

We have 12-15 EAs, all based in Boston, who have helped more than 60,000 households make a decision about their clean energy solution. They are experts in residential rooftop solar, heat pumps, community solar and much more.
