Manage Your Account & Address
Need to update your account or connect with your installers?
From your EnergySage account, you can easily update your information, request an address change, or send messages directly to your installers. Follow the steps below to manage your account and make sure your project details are accurate.
Update your account details
From your Project Preferences page, you can manage everything related to your EnergySage account — including your contact preferences, electric bill, and solar financing settings.
Follow the steps below to make changes to your account.
Access your account
- Go to energysage.com/market.
- Login to your account.
- Click your name in the top right corner, then select My Project Preferences.

Update your contact and communication preferences
Keep your contact information current so you don’t miss important updates about your project.
- From your Project Preferences page, scroll to the Communication Preferences section.
- Update your phone number or SMS opt-in preference.
- Choose how you want to receive updates (email, text, or both).
- Click Save when done.
💡Tip: Make sure you’ve opted into SMS notifications if you prefer text updates from installers or EnergySage.
💡Tip: You can also unsubscribe directly by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email.
⚠️Important: Transactional messages related to your quotes, installer communications, or account activity are required for your project and can’t be turned off.

If you’re unable to adjust your preferences or continue receiving emails after unsubscribing, you may contact our Support team by submitting this short form: Contact Customer Support.
Upload or replace your existing electric bill
Installers use your most recent electric bill to provide accurate quotes.
To upload or replace your electric bill:
- From your Project Preferences page, locate the Electric Bill Upload section.
- Click Upload Bill or Replace File.
- Select your most recent electric bill (PDF, JPG, or PNG format).
- Confirm that the usage information matches your uploaded document.
- Click Save or Go to My Dashboard when finished.
⚠️Important: If your energy usage has changed, your quotes may need to be refreshed. See “Message your installers” below to notify them.

Adjust your solar financing preferences
You can change your preferred way to pay for solar — whether you’re considering cash purchase, a loan, or a lease option.
- From your Project Preferences page, find the Financing Preferences section.
- Select your preferred option from the list.
- Click Save when done.
💡Tip: Updating your financing preferences can impact how your quotes are displayed. You can always reach out to installers for updated quotes once you’ve made a change.

Request an address change
If you’ve moved or need to correct your property address, please complete the Update Address Form below. This ensures your property details and quotes reflect your correct location.
Submit an address update request
Once submitted:
- Our support team will process your update within 1–2 business days. If your request is submitted over the weekend or over a holiday, this request may take longer.
- If your quotes are impacted, we’ll automatically alert your installers.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email once the update is complete.
Message your installers
If you need to share updates (like a new electric bill or usage data) or ask a question about your quotes, you can message installers directly.
- Log in to your EnergySage account.
- Go to the Messages tab on your dashboard.
- Click New Message.
- From the dropdown, select one installer or choose All interested installers to message everyone who quoted you.
- Write your message and click Send.
💡Tip: Your installers are eager to connect and make sure their quotes fit your needs. You’ll receive an email notification when they reply.
