Why is Atmos better for customers?
Solar loans with high fees may have lower monthly payments, but they are often more expensive for consumers. Since most homeowners pay off their solar loan in 6-7 years, regardless of term, they can avoid costs by choosing a loan with lower upfront fees.
How do I get paid?
Atmos pay installers based on work performed. You’ll be paid in two installments after you or your customer verifies work is performed.

How is the loan funded?
- Customer selects you as their installer in EnergySage
- Atmos sends you an email with a link to the cost form
- Enter the cash cost and system size
- Customer confirms the amount and requests a formal loan offer
- Atmos approves customer for the loan
- Customer selects loan term and signs documents
How Often will pricing change?
Atmos works with their bank partners to offer the most aggressive loan packages they can given the current rate environment. To do that, they are constantly negotiating with their network of community banks to offer the lowest rates the banks can tolerate.
In our current rate environment, that means changes could happen monthly, but hopefully, it's closer to quarterly.
Atmos is committed to offering installers and consumers the best rates they can to encourage more homeowners to move forward with solar.
